PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
If you send out more than 250 forms of one type (MSC, INT, S, etc.) you are required by law to submit your forms magnetically to IRS. This program converts your Magnetic Media Master File into a file that is accepted by IRS. The file is created in the DGL sub-directory under the name IRSTAX.001.
1. Select option 0561.
2. Enter the tax year you wish to convert.
3. Leave the prompt “Is This A Test File?” unchecked.
4. Click the Create button at the bottom of the screen.
