UDS Windows Users using dot matrix forms:
1. You will need to define a custom paper size within the print driver properties of the printer you wish to use. This can be done by going to the Printers icon found in Control Panel of the Windows operating system. The dimensions you wish to define will be 850 width and 550 length. Make sure your measurement scale is in inches. For more information on defining custom paper sizes, please refer to the printer manual.
2. Once the dimensions have been changed, make sure you apply your changes before clicking the OK button.
3. Select option 0811 from the UDS menu.
4. Highlight the job containing the tax forms then click on the Print button.
CAUTION:
The system will not print an alignment pattern for you to use to make sure the forms are aligned. It is highly suggested that you choose to print 1 or 2 pages as a test run. To do this, select the page range option when the printer dialogue box is displayed and enter 1 – 2 as the pages. Once the forms print, make your printer adjustments (up, down, left or right) accordingly.
